My Fine Art of Procrastination

Please tell me there are other mother’s out there that have a pile of laundry like this? I mean come I can’t be the only one right?

Yes this is my fine art of procrastination. I admit I am a procrastinator and this is what happens quite frequently in my house  until I can no longer fit anymore in the baskets (which i think is coming soon from the looks of this picture) and I must go on a laundry folding spree to catch up (just to fall behind again).

However it is clean laundry I just always find myself never finding the time to actually fold it once it is clean. I keep telling myself one day I will be an organized mother that always has the laundry folded and neatly in place but until then this is how it shall remain.

P.S: the scribbles all over the bottom basket are Ashton and Jadyn’s fine work of art.

Oh man- I hate laundry. Well, washing isn't so bad it's the folding. Then putting away. And it's like every time I see something in the wash, I'm all like, "jesus- didn't I JUST wash this?!". *sigh*. I once took a picture of the empty basket so I would remember.

I have to tell you that my piles looked like that too when I was working full time. I've been out on maternity leave since September and I've just recently (last week) gotten caught up on all of my laundry. I have it so that I can do one load of laundry a day. I am a lot like you, folding and putting away are painful for me!! At one point, we would basically live out of the dryer!! Just pull your clothes from there that way I didn't have to fold and put away! LOL. I found that I can't do multiple load in a day because then I just feel so overwhelmed. But one load a day isn't too bad...
